USAID - Star Energy Scholar Award provide a wide range of oppurtunities for Indonesian citizens to develop their capabilities, skills, and knowledge, by performing a study and research at Magister Program of Geothermal Technology, Institut Teknologi Bandung.
The scholarships will be given to ten (10) magister degree students and will cover tuition and fees, books, and field trip which is required for every student during their study (maximum 4 semester).
Scholarship applicants must have a minimum 3.00/4.00 cumulative GPA from Geology, Geophysics, Mining Exploration, Petroleum, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering. Other specialization will also be considered but for them should have a minimum 3.25/4.00 cumulative GPA. Applicants also must have the minimum TOEFL of 525 or equivalent IELTS of 6.0 and the minimum "Tes Potensi Akademik (TPA)" of 500.
Applicants must provide letter of statement which is express the agreement to enroll as full time student at ITB Geothermal Magister Program. For applicants that are currently employed, letter of permission from employer to leave the work and study full time at ITB Geothermal Magister Program must be provided. All of applicants must be less than 40 years of age by the time of admission (certificate of birth date is required).
Scholarship awardees must agree for termination and cancelation at any time due to spesific reason such as failure to make satisfactory academic progress or failure to complete scholarship award within the period as stipulated under contract between students and academic comittee. Scholarship awardees also must be in charge of being present in all lectures and tutorial, including fulfill the assignments, and sit for the examinations.
